Established in 1982 to Serve Incarcerated Individuals
Write-Way Prison Ministries began in 1982 when Ralph Nichols was appointed Penal Coordinator for Texas through Emmaus Bible Correspondence School. What started with about fifty inmates in fewer than ten institutions has grown into a ministry serving thousands of active students across hundreds of facilities. Today, the ministry continues to provide free Bible correspondence courses to individuals in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Iowa, New Jersey, and Indiana. From its home office in Garland, Texas, Write-Way remains focused on long-term, consistent spiritual support.
